Welcome to July Our favorite month, besides December!
Not only do we celebrate the 4th of July and patriotism all summer, July brings back life-long memories of traveling to Colorado to the Ski Hi Stampede every summer, and of course...this July will be our 15th trip to the annual Sul Ross State University ANRS & Rodeo Exes Reunion!
Which is where this tee comes from. A few years ago, I was visiting with some ole rodeo cowboys from the 70's-80's and they were telling tales. And more tales. And one of them says, "we rode 'em when they bucked" to which another one turns to me and says, "Red, you should put that on a shirt!" They all chuckled - you know that boyish, 'they know something I don't know' chuckle. I'm not real sure they were talking about livestock anymore, but I'm even MORE sure they wouldn't believe I would put it on a shirt!
So, here's to all my rodeo cowboy heroes. And hats off to those that have gone before us. We look forward to telling tales in your honor in a few weeks!
